Two hundred and fifty years ago today — on May 17th, 1776 — the Second Continental Congress called for a day of humiliation, fasting, and prayer. Today, exactly 250 years later, we gather to do the same. To humbly ask once more for God's mercy and guidance — as we enter the next 250 years of this republic.

Ok. Vulnerable post but here we are. I just weighed in at 141.4 lbs. Since Sept 2024 to today, May 15, 2026, I have lost 100lbs. It hurts to say that and share but I am going to share it because I worked so damn hard every week for over a year and a half to shed this weight. It did not happen overnight. If it wasn’t for having this incredibly challenging goal in fighting @rondarousey I most definitely wouldn’t have reached this. I was pre-diabetic, had trouble simply walking in September 2024 and have been on the path to recovery to turn myself back into an athlete since then. It was hard, SO damn hard.. there was so much to learn, too much to unpack here, ups, downs, plateaus, things I learned late I wish I learned earlier, trial by error but I did it. Thank you to Ronda, who waited patiently while I lost this weight and giving me something to aim for. There is still so much I need to learn and want to do in the health space and to continue transforming my body, but for today, I thank God, my husband and my family for sticking with and encouraging me the whole way. I pray this encourages you wherever you are in your health journey. Believe there is hope. Never give up. Ok.. enough emo, I’ve got a fight tomorrow. We’ve worked so hard to get here. Tune in!! @netflixsports @netflix @MostVpromotions

The plan is to get everyone sick from bio-engineered ticks that make it impossible for you to eat meat, without getting violently ill. Then, they'll offer you a vaccine. Why is this not considered domestic terrorism?
TFTC@TFTC21

A peer-reviewed paper published last year in the journal Bioethics by two professors at Western Michigan University School of Medicine argues that it is "morally obligatory" to genetically engineer ticks to spread alpha-gal syndrome, a permanent condition that makes you violently allergic to red meat. The paper is called "Beneficial Bloodsucking." Their argument: if eating meat is morally wrong, then preventing the spread of a disease that forces people to stop eating meat is also morally wrong. Scientists should gene-edit lone star ticks to enhance their ability to carry alpha-gal syndrome and expand their range into urban environments to infect more people. They call this a "moral bioenhancer." They frame releasing genetically modified disease-carrying ticks as a "vaccination" that only "infringes" on your bodily autonomy rather than "violating" it. The distinction, apparently, is that a tick bit you instead of a government official holding you down. Alpha-gal syndrome is not mild. The CDC estimates up to 450,000 Americans are already affected. Cases have surged 100-fold in the last decade. Symptoms include anaphylaxis. There is no cure. Alpha-gal cases are exploding across the United States. The lone star tick's range is expanding far beyond its historical territory. And two academics at a medical school published a paper arguing this is a good thing that should be accelerated. At what point do we stop treating papers like this as fringe academic exercises and start asking whether anyone is already acting on them?

Breaking: The m—rdered trans University of Washington student, who was allegedly killed by a black male suspect, has been identified as a white male named Michael "Juniper" Blessing (b. Sept. 22, 2006). The media and police have been referring to him as a female and a woman. Blessing is from Santa Fe, New Mexico. He was found in an off-campus laundry room with over 40 stab wounds. Suspect Christopher Leahy turned himself in after his photos were released by Seattle Police. A judge set his bail at $10 m. Trantifa, Antifa and leftist radicals responded to the m—rder by threatening violence against a planned TPUSA event featuring a victim of trans medicine, @ChloeCole. The event was postponed for safety reasons, prompting celebration from Antifa. The Trans Collection at UW used Blessing's m—rder to falsely claim that trans people are among the most vulnerable people to violence. Trans killers have been overrepresented in recent high-profile mass sh—ting events. ngocomment.com

I am absolutely devastated Men who claim to be women have more rights than actual women in Australia. It is women who are being discriminated against, not the men who claim to be us. But in a sense, nothing has changed: we will all wake up tomorrow & men will still not be women.

Australian trans woman Roxanne Tickle sued women only app Giggle for Girls after being banned (AI flagged her as male). Court ruled it was indirect discrimination—sex is "changeable," not strictly biological. Giggle lost, paid damages. Appeal decision today upheld it and doubled the damages.

Failed TV host Don Lemon asked me what I tell my kids. Here’s exactly what I tell them: You live in the greatest country on Earth. You are both black and white, which means you carry the strength, history, and legacy of both sides of your family. Your mother and father love you endlessly. And the opportunities you have exist because generations of Americans fought, sacrificed, built, and defended this nation. I do not teach my children victimhood. I do not teach them to hate America. I do not teach them that they are oppressed before they even begin life. I teach them faith, discipline, gratitude, excellence, and personal responsibility. The race-grifting hustle is dead. Americans are exhausted by people who became rich convincing others that this country is evil while enjoying every privilege it offers. I also remember when @ericswalwell went on this platform and claimed Republicans would outlaw my interracial marriage. Funny how that worked out… Emily and I are still happily married. No mobs showed up. No torches. No pitchforks. But Eric did get politically humiliated and ejected from Congress, because that “paragon of virtue,” never lived by the example he tweeted. Sound familiar, Don? And by the way, Don, since you’re so interested in parenting, what exactly do you tell your kids? Have any?

Ok I've gotten a lot of questions, texts and DMs about this arm pic. Did not expect that! Questions like "How can I get muscles over 50?" Truth is: I'm not sure. I've got residual muscles from years in a handstand and strength training as a gymnast. Like years. And many hours a day. At my peak competition years, I was training about 7 hours a day, sometimes as much as 9-10 (summer). I built my muscles as a teen (even before that) and they've stuck. So I don't know if you can start from scratch at 50 and build them but I think so. Why not? Get going! I do move every day. I don't make it miserable (as in too hard) because then I won't do it everyday. I choose consistency over intensity as a 57 year old! And it clears my head too. And I sleep well. A few thoughts: 1. Weight obviously has an impact on muscle visibility. When I'm leaner (and I am by no means skinny, nor do I want to be) muscles show. When I'm not lean, I look kind of puffy because the muscles just get covered with pudge. Ha. So, basically, don't eat too much. How's that for a diet tip?? Solid, right? 2. Move. I walk 10-12k steps a day. That's down from about 14-15k steps 2 years ago, but my bum ankle is making it hard lately. Regardless I do it pretty much 6 days a week. It's not hard (except when my ankle hurts too much). It's very pleasant really. Keeps you fit, keeps weight down, and keeps heart rate low. (Mine tends towards about 58bpm) 3. Lift a little. I don't do anything crazy. No massively heavy weights, because I don't like it. I know all the fitness ladies say "lift heavy things" now but I'm not going to. I don't want to. Just like I'm not going to eat 27 eggs a day and zero carbs. Nope. Not doing it. I like the arms & shoulders light weights classes from Peloton. (Their app is good even if you don't have the bike.) I try to do one about 4 days a week. And their core classes (I like the standing core classes, vs a bunch of sit ups which are annoying.) 4. STRETCH! Gotta keep mobility - probably most important thing as we get older. 5. Get the heart rate up. A few days a week I do a Peloton ride. Nothing crazy. Not too long. Just enough to get the heart rate up to about 140-150+. This is my least favorite part of exercising but I do it. That's it! Fitness tips from an old lady former gymnast!
