@J4stowk @cryst6ls Yes clearly it’s anecdotal information but myself and multiple people I know have followed those guidelines with the exact same scenario. It’s always a risk TECHNICALLY, but what I said is largely true

@J4stowk @cryst6ls You have to know when not to pay, how to negotiate it down etc. for example if you’re low income with no assets, they won’t come after you. If you have assets/high income, then let it be sent to collections for as long as possible until you offer them a lump sum of maybe 10-20%
