@chrisphin Feel your pain. Someone once told me "you always do what you say you will, don't you", to which I thought, YAY! Now that same sentence often feels like a massive, self inflicted pressure.

I think one of my greatest fears (and I don’t for a moment suggest this is unique, which is why I’m tweeting it) is cutting myself the very slightest, meanest of slacks, only to be told I’m abdicating responsibility, or not living up to my potential. It’s existentially awful.

There are clear ways to achieve a 20% reduction. This tool from @nesta_uk guides those with combi boilers to turn down their flow temperature, reducing gas use by up to 8%. nesta.org.uk/project/optimi…

Honestly, the quickest and simplest solution, I think, is to have them plug in a pair of (new or sanitised) earphones, and then have one ear each. (Alternatively, but a headphone splitter. Basically, y’want headphones.)

Got a wee podcasting problem. I'm interviewing two people next week, remotely, and they'll be in the same room using the same computer. Any suggestions of how to reduce echo? No headphones as they'll be hooked up to the same computer 🤔 @chrisphin @mediavoicespod @corinne_podger
