No. That's pure fatalistic spin. Objectives were clear from day one: smash Iran's missile arsenal and production, annihilate its navy, block nuclear breakout, and gut the proxies. Khamenei is D-E-A-D, hundreds of top leaders are gone, the navy is largely destroyed with dozens of ships sunk or wrecked, missile launches and factories have been hammered hard, and air dominance is total. Trump said on April 1 that the core objectives are nearing completion—just 2-3 more hard weeks to finish the job. Iran is far weaker now. No North Korea-style missile shield to hide behind while going nuclear. Yeah, the costs SUCK, but they're nothing compared to living with that threat. Preemption worked. The "shifting goals, nothing achieved" garbage just ignores the facts on the ground.

Germany was Gazprom’s largest European customer, with Russia supplying over 40–55% of Germany’s imports in peak years, from 2010–2022. The fact that the U.S. risked hundreds of lives and billions of dollars worth of equipment to save a single life is terrifying to our enemies. This tells them that the U.S. has no limits to what it will do to ensure that all threats to America and our interests are destroyed.

The most committed supporters of NATO in the U.S. have always been Trump-skeptical Republicans but I can see that the closing of air-space to U.S. planes at this critical time has almost achieved the impossible and made many of them doubt that the game is worth the candle.

I'm so fed up with Europe. Europe absolutely sucks. The US is there for them EVERY time they call... Every time Putin sneezes too loud and they get scared we are there. We are the primary funding source of NATO. We are the ONLY reason Ukraine didn't fall to Russia in the first few weeks of that war. And yet when we need to use their AIRSPACE to transport munitions that will be used to disarm a DERANGED AND UNHINGED regime... That proved it can REACH MAJOR EUROPEAN CITIES... They say it's not their war. The fact that the GULF STATES have been more supportive than Europe is EMBARRASSING. Screw Europe. They want to play these games? Cool. Next time Putin makes anything *REMOTELY* resembling a move don't come crying to the US... Let that bunch of surrender monkeys handle it themselves. Leave NATO. They don't want us? Fine.
