$AMC I am sure the negative nancys will have a different take on this but this scenario is plausible for an #AMC short squeeze in the near future! Would definitely explain the recent short shills buying and on attack mode!

@ApesNotADeadCat Yep, they keep saying short positions are low/have been covered .... Not a chance. Until I see a single 5 Million share count block cross the wires I know there are still shorts out there.

@zerohedge Why do you say that it's a $12b position according to wsj, when that article explicitly said that the size of the position is unknown? Please edit this article or remove it altogether unless you can explain this.

$AMC $GME $BYND its now been well over 2 years since cohen has had 9 billion dollars and the stock market has literally dipped and rallied 20% twice. This guy absolutely blew it and has no idea what he is doing. I will never invest in GME @ryancohen

@nakedjockman @Rick3r67 Did some digging, and apparently NYSE goes by the average closing price. So 30 days with an average closing price below $1 and they would be non-compliant. The average of the last 3 day closes is now 0.998.

I'll be corrected on this I'm sure but this is just my opinion: You hedge to avoid downside risk if you're long. AMC is $1. 2026 is expected to be a lucrative year. I've heard the company is undervalued even trading at slightly above $1. AMC is NOT going bankrupt under AA's watch so the downside from $1 to 0 is minimal if not currently nonexistent. Give me millions of shares to allow the company a little wiggle room as it sits at it's low and I'll happily paddle out to catch the 2026 box office wave.

@Rick3r67 @nakedjockman They did close below $1 today, another 30 and they will be non-compliant with the minimum bid rule. I think it's fair to consider the need for a reverse split rather than saying downside is minimal. Especially with all the dilution that is expected to happen.
