Dear women, even if marriage doesn’t happen for you and the reality is that it won’t happen for everyone, consider having 1 or 2 kids if you can. Old age is real, and the love and presence of children in those moments is something special. My mum has been ill, and seeing my siblings and I (six of us) show up for her in different ways has been deeply humbling and moving and I love it for my mum tbh and it has made my resolve stronger to have a child with or without marriage. I pray everyone experiences such support in old age. Nobody, I mean nobody will show up for you like your children ❤️
