Today, major projects are underway in E. coli and Baker's yeast. @geochurch and @AkosNyerges are nearly finished making a 57-codon E. coli cell. The Sc2.0 yeast project is nearly done making all 16 yeast chromosomes. Is this the year, @ProfTomEllis? biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
