@defnotadino My philosophy has always been I don't care how sorry you say you are, step up to a plate and actually do something meaningful to show it.

@thereisnojayjay I got one once and literally lost my mind. After it was out I went right back to normal. It was a couple days in/out but it was very much like a switch got flipped. I really hope people talk to medical professionals about options.

That said, an IUD is not the right choice for everyone and you should find a doctor who will discuss all your options with you. Please don’t make healthcare decisions based on what you’re seeing on social media rn!

This is a great article. For me personally, I went with an IUD in part because I won’t be *immediately* impacted if/when other forms of contraception (the shot, pill, ring, etc.) that aren’t affixed in your body are regulated out of reach or pulled off the market entirely.

Apparently they never thought the tarrifs would eat their face.

While many are talking about losing hope or moving to other countries, Native people have survived under U.S. government leaders that wanted us dead since the very beginning. This is still Native land, and will always be Native land. We never had the luxury to stop fighting.
