Some updates on the projects that have reached new milestones or made other significant progress since my last tweet: x.com/trondbjoroy/st… Dynamic Transaction Model ❓Deposit-based vs fee-based tokens. Client releases to support the new model. Feature activation and mainnet rollout 💡Done and live on mainnet since last week. Wallet releases to support the new model are on the way; Headless was released this week, mobile next week, desktop in the next couple of weeks. Snap will be sent to the MetaMask team for review on Monday, the web wallet needs to wait for the Snap to be approved. Explorer release next week. Developer Experience ❓Hathor skills for Claude Code, Hathor Forge 💡New skill for creating a full dApp with AI around the corner, adding to the previously released blueprint skill. Install skills from github.com/hathornetwork/… Hathor Forge: This new product lets you run a full local blockchain in seconds, without any configuration. It’s now available in both CLI and GUI versions. Binaries for Windows, Linux, and Mac can be downloaded at github.com/hathornetwork/… (new versions being put out quite frequently). Skills can be used inside Forge. It also ships with a built-in MCP server so you can let Claude and others handle everything for you. Videos and marketing on the way. Jupyter Notebooks Infrastructure (Hathor Learn) ❓Executable notebooks for development. Experimentation, inspection, and validation tooling 💡Finishing the notebooks these days, they needed some updates due to changes made since launching nanos. Hopefully goes live next week. Developer Tooling & Documentation Improvements ❓Library improvements, simplified Nano Contract docs and tutorials 💡Done. Faster Finality ❓Short-term: Reduce DAA target block time. Long-term: Decentralized Sequencer Architecture for near-instant finality 💡Block time will be reduced from today’s 30 seconds to 7.5 seconds in an upcoming full node release. Onchain Blueprints (OCBs) ❓Permissionless blueprint deployment, lifting nano restrictions 💡About to start testing on testnet. Permissionless Full Nodes ❓Removal of full node whitelist 💡Should go live with the next full node release. Blueprint Marketplace ❓Marketplace MVP (a website to browse and submit blueprints). Full marketplace with royalties after OCBs + nano fees launch 💡MVP live in the next couple of weeks. Shielded Transactions ❓Research, technical design, and possible POC 💡Working on the core and wallet/lib for a PoC on testnet.
