#PuttingDreamsInMotion continues to guide our commitment as we are day three into the STEM learning Stop at May Christian high school, #fun in learning .

It's been a good couple of days here at Kitante Hill, young people making the most of the opportunity in their amidst and being rewarded for it. #PuttingDreamsInMotion from collaboration to practical application of learnt concepts.

Fun in learning moments highlighting the switch from___ 'what to do' to___ 'how to do'. The new lower level curriculum empowers learners to be knowledge creators and teachers positioned as facilitators of knowledge.

Students had an immersive STEM session covering coding, AI and robotics true to our commitment of #PuttingDreamsInMotion we believe that given the tools young people can transfrom knowledge into rewarding competent behaviors.

The session reminded the students about the need to make the right and informed health choices as a catalyst to realizing their dreams. #PuttingDreamsInMotion

Yesterday we commenced #Day1 at @KitanteHillSchl we held an engaging HIV/AIDS education session with students, true to our commitment of fun in learning, we utilize the movie the Inside Story.

To conclude the four inspiring days, students confidently presented prototypes built from the knowledge gained throughout the program. And it was equally exciting to see t/ school leadership engage w/ @OpenSpaceUganda team on expanding #STEM opportunities #PuttingDreamsInMotion

#Day4 at Code High School, and students are still getting the best of what the #NileExplorerBus🚍has to offer. This morning, @mariamnakigudde, a @WashFellowship alumni, passed by and engaged students on various career opportunities out of school. #PuttingDreamsInMotion

🧼 This afternoon, students on #NileExplorer jumped into a hands-on liquid soap making session. Beyond learning about hand hygiene, they got to create their own soap, exploring the science,practice behind it, as well as the entrepreneurial aspect. #PuttingDreamsInMotion

Today, we brought HIV/AIDS education to life with students through the edutainment movie the Inside Story. The session focused on making HIV talk normal and empowering young people to make informed & healthy choices #PuttingDreamsInMotion Cc:@USEmbassyUganda @OpenSpaceUganda

Still #PuttingDreamsInMotion, after an eventful AI session, the students jumped into the inner working of robots using robotics smart machines👾

While students initially thought AI was smarter, they got first-hand experience on how it actually works from every facial recognition to voice assistants, knowingly each relies on information that humans feed into it over time. #PuttingDreamsInMotion

“AI is more clever than humans”🤔 This morning aboard the #NileExplorerbus, students from Code High School dove into the inner workings of AI & robotics 🤖and quickly discovered the truth behind the hype. CC:@USEmbassyUganda @OpenSpaceUganda #PuttingDreamsInMotion

The #AmericanCenterKampala is back!
