اتصلتُ بقائد الجيش ثلاث مرات خلال الأربعة أيام الماضية، محذّراً من خطورة غياب الجيش عن الأرض في منطقة القليعة مرجعيون كما في منطقة الرميش دبل عين ابل، وذلك استناداً إلى تواصلنا مع المسؤولين الكتائبيين في المنطقة ورؤساء البلديات. كان الخوف واضحاً من احتمال دخول عناصر مسلّحة إلى البلدات وتوريط هذه القرى الآمنة وتعريضها للقصف.
للأسف، ما كنّا نحذّر منه حصل. فقد دخل مسلّحو حزب الله إلى أحد المنازل، ما أدى إلى استهدافه بقصف إسرائيلي. وعند وصول كاهن الرعية الأب بيار الراعي مع رئيس إقليم مرجعيون–حاصبيا الرفيق سعيد سعيد إلى المكان، تم قصفه مجدداً، ما أدى إلى إصابة الأب الراعي إصابة بالغة.
أمام هذا الواقع الخطير، على المجلس الأعلى للدفاع أن يجتمع فوراً ويتخذ القرارات المناسبة، وأن يعطي أوامره الواضحة للجيش وتوجيهاته للبنانيين أينما وجدوا.
أما ترك الناس لمصيرهم من دون حماية أو توجيه واضح، فهو أمر معيب وغير مقبول.

Plus Isreal have evacuated almost all of them, why would you think they want a genocide if they evacuated

‼️Hezbollah (Lebanese-IRGC) operations resulted in an Israeli strike that led to the death of a Catholic priest, Father Pierre Rahi. According to official government sources, the IDF targeted a building in the Christian town of Qlaiaa where 3 L-IRGC operatives were targeted. Shortly after, the priest and associates showed up and were mistaken as additional IRGC fighters. ‼️

That “fun fact” is actually a pretty common misreading of the data. The studies people cite measure lifetime experiences with domestic violence, not violence within one specific relationship. A lot of lesbian women who reported abuse said the abusive partner was a man from a previous relationship, which gets left out when people repeat that stat.
And when it comes to racial differences, researchers consistently find those numbers are tied much more to poverty, economic stress, and access to resources, not race itself.
Domestic violence happens in every kind of relationship and every community.
Cherry-picking stats to dunk on certain groups doesn’t really tell the whole story.
