On this day, 45 years ago, one of the most important judgements in modern Indian history was delivered by Justice Jagmohanlal Sinha of the Allahabad High Court. He set aside PM Indira Gandhi's 1971 election for electoral malpractices & debarred her from holding any elected posts.
