My 4 year old nephew speaks English like a native American and he hasn't even passed Baby class and hence doesnt know all the alphabets Does it mean he is more educated than us Nope it only means he can speak a language well and English like any other langauge is not a sign of knowledge but a tool of communication U don't need to be educated to speak a language well Even illiterates also use lang to communicate The problem with India is our current education was designed by Macaulay to create clerks to serve British Hence the only peple who got jobs were those could read and write in English Hence English became a hallmark of education The only problem is some people havent come out of their slavish mentality even today and think since pappu speaks told English he is more educated and intelligent than say a Himanta or Amit Shah.

After one’s first job they no longer ask about ones degree but about ones experience and one’s achievements and our PM has enough to show so chill

@KTRBRS So what? They are worthy than educated. Not only certificate, Commitment and hardship required in politics to serve public. But we can't judge educated persons all are working for public. We r seeing much of them are working for self.

Growing up, I was exposed to the BJP's ideologies, as my father was a BJP supporter. We had friends and family in politics. He suddenly stopped after Mr. Modi became the PM of India. I argued with my father because I believed that Modi would bring a change, improve its citizens especially women's lives. NRI Indian Women from my organization @IndianLadiesUK shouted slogans such as "Har Naari Ki Yahi Pukaar, Modi Aaye Baar-Baar". Then Sushma Swaraj was silenced, and women's safety issues were put on hold. Followed by the most insignificant ministers leading the Finance and Foreign ministries. The NRI community was let down like never before. Instead of working with the real community or addressing their concerns, high commissions entertained fringe elements. The Prime Minister lied to everyone. If he didn't protect his own woman, how could he protect others'? That became more and more clear! I should have listened to my Papa from the beginning. His assessment was spot on. BJP has broken families and friendships. Turned normal people against each other. Brainwashed, exploited and lied to Indian citizens, presenting unattainable dreams. Any party other than the BJP would get my vote today. It has let the nation down.
