Hot dogs are one of the great innovations of human civilization (though this example below lacks the crowning glories of relish and onions). I personal give an inordinate number of Michelin stars to both Costco hot dogs and the guy who used to sell them on 48th Street, corner of Fifth Ave, in the 1980s.

Kaiser Permanente is so evil. I was this robustly healthy and happy person before a negligent KP cornea surgeon prescribed me a fluoroquinolone antibiotic the FDA says not to prescribe unless a patient will basically die w/o it. And I was always what I call stupid happy. But it’s not stupid at all. I’m happy that I like my rug and the food in my refrigerator and my little doggie’s insistent tiny bark when she needs to be taken outside to pee. But now I spend my day feeling sick & terrified bc of serious symptoms the KP doctors are simply ignoring & get leaving untreated. Admins at KP have canceled my doctor’s IV magnesium that substantially alleviated my symptoms. They have no other solution, yet KP admins (perhaps vindictively, due to my posts here) canceled the new infusions my gyno scheduled for me & blocked him from sked any further appointmts. They told him it is outside his scope of practice to prescribe it. It is anything but, and being speciously accused of that can cause him serious professional harm. Evil. Menopausal osteoporosis is completely his scope! Magnesium is vital for healthy bone. Telling him he has violated scope is both untrue and may serve to make him afraid to give me care with the looming risk of punitive Kaiser administrators hanging over him. It also makes me reticent to ask him for care bc I don’t want him to get in trouble. Bc a doctor treating outside his scope of practice is a serious legal/ethical violation, institutional accusation of this can harm him with the medical board—his orders disgusting and wrongly retracted as inappropriate. Secondly, Kaiser going after him another of my longtime doctors and illegitimately telling them that they are in violation (by providing what is actually vital mobility saving care for me, as well as care that decreases my life-threatening tachycardia & bradycardia that lead to dizziness, fainting, & falls about every 3 days now, along w mg power to diminish life-threatening risk from elevated toxic metabolites that my PCP care doctor I’ve just banned from my care (via legal letter to KP) knew not a thing about & just ignored in my lab test results—along with lab message calling for retesting because due to the danger. By the way my gynecologist, of the four doctors at Kaiser who prescribed IV magnesium for me (and another, a Department Head and my longtime doctor who, after a very appropriate safety check with nephrology, told me he would prescribe) is perhaps one of the most versed in IV magnesium because he is a maternity specialist and deals with at risk pregnancies and preeclampsia. I feel sick throughout the day. Kaiser has left me progressively debilitated since October 7 when I notified them that I needed a specialist with scope of practice to evaluate and diagnose and treat me. And in violation of law and medical ethics they have left me without diagnosis and no doctor with any scope of practice in the fluoroquinolone antibiotic multisystems damage I have, including increasing life-threatening risk mentioned here. I feel dizzy and sick and nauseated and just gutted by the fact that I cannot get to my kitchen without either crawling or hanging onto things so I don’t fall from the dizziness and loss of balance caused by this drug. And yes I have done a full Bradford Hill nine and steel manned and a multiple task that I begged for and thought for to rule out heart’s structure or function problems, thyroid, and countless other possible conditions. There is just an immense cost to spending your day constantly feeling sick & losing your ability to walk normally from one room in your tiny house to the next. Forgetting a lined paper pad in the bathroom is life endangering thru the risk of falls. And when I feel dizzy, I have to lie down right away. I just did this & my glasses were the casualty. As I’m living off my savings while spending every day since Oct 7, 2025 fighting Kaiser to get the mitigating care I need. #4 me pre-KP debilitation
