I assume that Heathrow airport, given that they’re charging passengers and airlines for the costs (Early planning costs amounting to £320M!) involved in them expanding a private business via a new runway, will give a discount/rebates to the passengers/airlines when they start recouping the profits from the expansion? @PeterDellaPenna Well as a 74 year old I have been quite surprised at those slightly younger folk firing off how shocking they find it etc. I am irritated by some of the TV commentators barely drawing breath but some the cricket is truly fascinating and entertaining.

The hatred for the Hundred is beyond deranged. At the end of the day, it's bat and ball entertainment, AKA cricket, that families are paying to see. If the £38 ticket price point keeps Test/County crybabies away and confined to shouting into a pillow on X, even better.

Absolutely zero interest in any of this. Longest I did was 16:45 JFK-HKG and it was awful

@ToppersSnr The one thing that is clear is that Harrison is a lot better than Bashir. He can bat and field, usually exceptionally, as well as bowl.

Have said this for sometime & do know my onions! Expecting Calvin Harrison to leapfrog Rehan Ahmed in all three skills of the game & has a higher ceiling. Rehan Ahmed has been fortunate to have so many chances as a toporder batter, & with England. Harrison's a proper athlete

Goodness what an eclectic mix of aircraft. I was never talented enough to fly something fast and pointy… I know my limits. But that aside, the past 3 decades have seen me accumulate over 20,000 hours in these 5 types and a few others. My favourite… the Firefly as it was my first command. My first flight ever… was in a Chipmunk… as an @aircadets… what was your first flight ?

So... I spent 8 hours yesterday in A&E after I spotted an irregular heartbeat. GP sent me there. Many tests. I got an appointment with cardiologist today. I have atrial flutter. Beta blockers, blood thinners, close monitoring of blood pressure and some lifestyle adjustments ❤️❤️

@scottiebateman @flyingjok @The_Crewroom A very accurate summary of the show. You have to wonder if the organisers beg the likes of the US to show both military and civil hardware as without them it would be virtually void of aircraft.

It’s been a great few days at #FIA26… lots of fun filming with @flyingjok as we build some more @The_Crewroom content prior to our launch. Despite the fun, it’s been a weird show, a shadow of its former self. Few displays and a lack lustre static display that has a definite defence and uncrewed, or eVTOL bias. Maybe Farnborough has had its day as a show and needs a new venue to refresh the brand. Oh, and I didn’t get in the helicopter. 😝
