There is more to this story though. Not starting Lammens straightaway is Amorim’s decision. Not starting Sesko earlier was Amorim’s decision. Suddenly overthinking and starting Ugarte over Casemiro was Amorim’s decision. Going safe and starting Maz at RWB was his decision. Asking Bruno to play safe and not go direct much against City was his decision. You very well know I am not one of those people who won’t give chances to Amorim. But, it’s true that he got scared, went full defensive, overthought against City. It’s a bit like the Spurs final. He didn’t attack when attack was the right approach.
