For most of my life, America was not run by a weird cult of decay and death, but that changed sometime around 2014, maybe even 2010 (though it was very subtle). For the first time I feel like we have at least a chance at reversing this, and I feel great relief at that prospect.

For those asking why her arms are long:
I decided to place her hands in this position because this is where they looked best with the camera (85 mm).
If I moved them closer to her face, they would have looked like they were too close to her face, and her eyeline wouldn't work.

Is there a world in which something like MegaLights simply becomes part of overall GI? Maybe scanning through lumen cards and replacing lumen traces with area lights, for any surface which is distinctively bright enough?

I wonder at what point you get to merge MegaLights and Lumen? Given that ML is effectively just stochastic RT, it feels like a limited, importance-sampled path-tracer on top of Lumen.

@Kwokwokwokwok There was a stand-up joke about it being bad because the person behind you can also recline to make space, but you're passing the buck down to the back, and the person at the end has no room. Makes me mad to this day, as I've never seen a plane where the back seat can't recline!
