@BenGeskin I agree but I think it'll be the same tech in a slimmer form factor. This will be great for movies though or single person viewing

I just finished watching Apple’s new immersive video, Real Madrid: The Weight of Greatness, on Apple Vision Pro. I already knew it, but this film confirmed once again that this is the future of watching football and other live events. I haven’t seen anything more immersive or convincing than this format. You’re fully immersed in the football club and its fans, experiencing the match alongside them. The cinematography is incredible, with so many different perspectives. One moment you’re walking onto the stadium for a Champions League match alongside the players. The next, you’re looking down from above as an attack develops on the pitch. Later, you’re in the locker room with the team, feeling the tension and anticipation during halftime. The film is 20 minutes long, but I would happily watch an entire match like this. I’m convinced this is where sports viewing is heading, and Apple deserves a lot of credit for pushing this technology forward. Highly recommend watching it when it premieres tomorrow, May 22, exclusively on Apple Vision Pro. Thank you, Apple, for providing early access.

Apple TV just announced that (for the first time ever) this weekend's LA Galaxy vs. Houston Dynamo match will be shot entirely on an iPhone 17 Pro. Here's what the setup looked like last year when they began testing it during MLB games.

Even when the only major changes happen in the battery and the camera, there's still a lot to talk about. Come for the Motorola Razr Ultra 2026 review, stay for the Google I/O behind-the-scenes vlog shot on its cameras. Live now on the MrMobile YouTube channel!

From my lens, this @AppleInsider piece is a bad take. But it also highlights the difference between a consumer tech lens and an enterprise IT lens. Google has billions of consumer users, so if the expectation for I/O was “show me the latest Android goodness without everything becoming an AI demo,” I can understand how someone walks away disappointed. But I/O was not that conference for me. It was about how do developers adopt and build using AI during the AI revolution. I’ve also never attended a tech event with so many people watching from outside the enterprise IT bubble. That made the split more obvious. From my seat, AI was the story. Full stop. Not AI as a feature sprinkled across apps. AI as the operating model Google is trying to build across search, developer tooling, infrastructure, and enterprise services. That may not make for the cleanest consumer keynote. But it is absolutely a story. appleinsider.com/articles/26/05…

We just 3xed the rate limits across all tiers in Antigravity so that you can put 3.5 Flash through its paces even more, enjoy, and keep the feedback coming! :)

An update: we’re 3xing the rate limits for Gemini models across all paid tiers in Antigravity and resetting everyone’s Gemini quota for the week. We understand some people hit their rate limits quickly and wanted to respond fast. Lots more to come and enjoy building!

I ran out of credits on Cursor, so it forced me to switch to Composer 2.5. Couldn’t believe it actually helped me fix bugs and successfully push the app to production 😂 Lowkey kinda like it now

@michaelmiraflor I've used the metas for daily use with prescription lenses. The reality is that most people don't even notice although more people are noticing it. I tell people I'm wearing them and most people are fine. It's less about what you capture and more about what you do with it.

Hot take: You should not have smart glasses or intelligent eyewear as your default/daily corrective eyewear. Some people will avoid you because they do not like the idea of being POV recorded without their permission. They will not say this out loud to you; they will actively avoid you instead and judge you for it. "Well we live in a world where the possibility of being recorded already exists with smartphones" is not a valid excuse heree. It is fairly obvious when someone is recording on a phone. It's different when the recording device is on your face.

I still use the Samsung Trifold every night as a reading/watching multitasking machine. The cameras are just ok, so I won't make it my main phone again (I need a strong tele lens which only Chinese brands are giving me right now) but this thing is so so so damn cool still

Another great point about why @demishassabis was part of a documentary five years ago despite hating being on camera “ because we thought it was important to show the people behind the tech, their motivations, their values and believes” such a critical point and one that many leaders miss

macOS 27 is shaping up to be WAY bigger than I expected 👀 ✨ New AI-powered Siri for Mac 🧠 Natural language Shortcuts 📸 AI photo editing tools 🌐 Safari tab organization 👆 Touchscreen Mac optimizations Feels like Apple is finally building macOS around Apple Intelligence from the ground up. Could end up being the most important Mac update in years. What feature are you most excited for? 🤔
