@agopstudio It must be a bit higher in the sub categories, but bad a similar experience with my first...ranked around 2k on all and 100-500 on sub categories. Still someone found it and purchased it. Has been quite since then tho😶

First sale since the Framer update 🥹 My template is ranked 4000 btw. FOUR THOUSAND. Someone actually scrolled that far and I love them for it. Happened yesterday, when France lost the semi final to Spain. So that sale was carrying the whole day lol

It really depends on your use case. Most of my work is technical, apart from the design side, so I use both Codex and Claude quite a lot. I checked your profile and saw that you work with Framer, so I’m guessing you’d mainly use it for building Framer websites, though I could be wrong 😅 If you specifically want to use the Framer MCP, then Cursor is probably the better choice.

Cursor is actually goated (I barely even use it). A client sent me a website built on Lovable and asked me to recreate it in WordPress. I told him straight up, "I don’t like this website. Let me completely revamp it and build it properly in Framer." He said no. It had to be WordPress. I immediately rejected the project because, honestly, I never want to work with WordPress again. That’s where I started, but now it just frustrates me. But the client kept insisting. So I finally agreed, but gave him a very long deadline because I thought I’d have to rebuild everything manually. Then I found a WordPress MCP plugin. I didn’t want to burn my Codex or Claude limits on a WordPress project, so I opened Cursor and used Composer 2.5. A few hours later, the entire website was ready. Less than 5% of my usage limit was consumed. Of course, I still had to fix and tweak a few things, but compared to building the whole thing from scratch? This felt illegal. I still don’t like WordPress. But Composer 2.5 made it tolerable.

@ankydesigns Oh yes it does take a lot of time...not exactly to play with layers. But I spent most of the time on ideation , if a section looks good enough,do i need some GSAP or cool custom code, is it too complex to edit for the customer. And finally if its worth it😅

Day 6/180 of my 6-month Framer challenge 🚀 Working on the first template. It's harder than I expected to build products while delivering client work. Still managed to push the hero section forward today. 💪

@rabyaan_ Been thinking should I invest on composer/claude or codex. Do you think composer is worth it?

@NishanDesign23 @framer @iremgeldry Cant really say what the norm is anymore after the update. At the very start when I released my first template i was getting 2-3 sales per month for 1 template, this was back in October 2024 - June 2025 apprx

4 weeks before @framer 3.0 update: 978 clicks. 4 weeks after: 224. That's a 77% drop. And no template sales since the update either. So the question I keep coming back to is: is Framer really the right place to sell templates anymore? I think it's pretty clear the focus has shifted toward AI designing websites. And honestly I get it. Right now people would rather have AI quickly spin up a personalized site than go hunting for a template. Of course Framer wants to stay on the front line as the option those customers reach for. That makes sense. But it leaves me with a real question. Does it still make sense for me to keep making templates? My lead count has dropped hard. And with the marketplace being so open now, the ranking feels unpredictable, templates move up and down in ways I genuinely can't make sense of. My templates used to sit relatively high, got regular sales, and were actually appreciated. Now most of them slide down the ranking a little more every day. I still want to stay optimistic. Things change. And I'm grateful Framer gave me this opportunity to make money in the first place, and hopefully still does. I'd like to hear what other people are seeing. For some of you it's probably working great right now, maybe better than ever. Anyway. That's where I'm at.

Preloader and hero animation for OR.Architecture. The initial direction I had for the animation was too literal and a bit too long, which made it feel cheap and somewhat unprofessional. So I decided to go with something much simpler and more refined. I might post the first version someday just to share the process and show how the direction evolved. I’d love to know what you think.

@HamzahHaroon2 @framer After the 3.0 update, I didn’t make any sales for two weeks. Then things started picking up again, but now it’s been another 10 days without a sale. Every morning I wake up hoping to see a new sale notification. It’s honestly pretty discouraging. :/

@sonia_axion Ah i am a fairly new creator with one template listed. Got 2 sales without my template being featured or in the top of rankings, also without an X premium. That has kinda motivated me to build more as of now. Will have to see how it goes

Just bet my colleague $1,000 on who grows a stronger audience here in 2 weeks🫣 I care about high-signal connections, not empty metrics. If you’re currently scaling in SaaS, Fintech, Healthcare, AI, or Web3 drop a reply with what you're building! 🔥 Quick intro: I run a boutique design agency where we do premium UI/UX, custom motion, and branding that makes startups look expensive. Day 1/14. Let's see who wins 🏁
