Was sitting with a friend this week, comparing random expenses, and somehow we ended up opening our bank apps. Both of us realised we had no idea when our savings account interest even gets added. Went down that rabbit hole for a bit…noticed his banks did it monthly (it was IDFC FIRST Bank) and mine did quarterly. When we calculated the difference it would make in the total amount we would get on the same balance, his was higher. Didn’t expect to learn something new! Did you guys know about this?
