@AllOrNubbin Honestly beautiful to hear. When I first married my wife (18 years ago) we agreed no kids. I love her. But I want kids now. I’ve asked her a few times. She always says no. The window is almost closed. We are both 42. It is what it is.

Sometimes I wonder if my biggest regret in life will be that I never had kids.

Played the $155 ~ $15,000 last night. Bizarre thing happened I’ve never seen before. Seat 9 and Seat 2 are in a hand. Seat 9 bets 35k on the river, Seat 2 tanks and calls. (Not all in) Seat 9 flips over the nut straight. Seat 2 puts his cards face down and slides them forward. Seat 4 says “what did he fold?” Seat 7 & 8 chime in, “yeah, we want to see it ~ dealer flip the over”. Dealer is confused, I say, guys, he isn’t all in. He doesn’t have to show. Seat 7 & 8 start to argue, dealer, call the floor, it’s a “called hand” he has to show. Dealer finally flips the cards over to reveal AK for ace high. Player in seat 2 says, why are you showing my hand? Seat 7 & 8 start to get loud, if the hand is called it needs to be shown… I state calmly, guys, if Seat 9 called Seat 2s bet then she could wait for Seat 2 to show or muck. The must show rule is for all ins. They call the floor, he confirms because it’s not all in seat 2 is allowed to muck. Seat 7 & 8 go off, the floor doesn’t know shit. Blah blah blah. My goodness.

Mike, Everytime something happens you tell people "I told everyone ". Not only did you not tell everyone, but you also tried opening up a cardroom in Texas (massive failure btw). Your record for actually betting on events is horrendous. I even offered to wager you if the club reopens, which you refused. I understand you may not like Doug, or like the fact that another cardroom that you had no affiliation with was successful, but your post is just moronic.

I hate that this happened but everyone knew Texas law was and is! I repeated many times on my podcast that running massive raked tourneys plus being a big name promoting them was would bring unwanted attention to the club, which it obviously did! 🙏🏻 things work out but I truly doubt they’ll be able to reopen! There’s a reason they called all the rooms in Texas Social clubs!
