This is one of the greatest moments in the entire CGI era for me. It’s so suspenseful, a great score, and the animation is just top notch! 🎬 BMM I just enjoy more and more every time I watch rewatch it. This felt like a true resurgence for the Thomas Franchise at the time! 💙

Watching Series 17-20 on DVD and I really love how the engines seem to move at a steady brisk pace, which is perfect. I really enjoy how comfy it feels. The stories are all set at the right speed.
Then we look at Series 22-24 which is just… fucking hell.

In 2021, I have posted about a public event in the Netherlands in 1994 where counterfeit games have been steamrolled to send a message, under the supervision of Mario. A newly found photo of the event shows that at some point, Mario himself also drove the steamroller.
