एक बार बीजिंग शहर के एक मुहल्ले में एक युवती का बलात्कार हुआ। ये खबर किसी तरह चेयरमैन क्रांतिकारी माओत्से तुंग तक पहुंची। वह खुद पीड़ित लड़की से मिले। उन्होंने उस लड़की से पूछा "जब तुम्हारे साथ जबरदस्ती किया जा रहा था तो तुम मदद के लिये चिल्लाई थी ?" लड़की ने हां में सर हिलाया। चेयरमैन माओ ने उस लड़की के सर पर प्यार से हाथ रखा और नरमी से कहा... "मेरी बच्ची! क्या तुम उसी ताक़त के साथ दोबारा चिल्ला सकती हो ?" लड़की ने कहा "जी हां।" चेयरमैन माओ के आदेश पर कुछ सिपाहियों को आधे किलोमीटर के सर्कल में खड़ा कर दिया गया और उसके बाद लड़की से कहा कि अब तुम उसी ताक़त से चीखो। लड़की ने ऐसा ही किया माओ ने उन सिपाहियों को बुलाया और हर एक से पूछा गया कि लड़की की चीख सुनाई दी या नहीं ? सभी सिपाहियों ने कहा कि लड़की की चीख सुनाई दी गई। चेयरमैन माओ ने अब सिपाहियों को आदेश दिया कि आधे किलोमीटर के उस इलाक़े के तमाम मर्दों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया जाये और तीस मिनट के अंदर अगर मुजरिम की पहचान न हो सके तो गिरफ्तार मर्दों को गोली मार दिया जाये। फौरन आदेश का पालन हुआ और दिये गये मुहलत को बमुश्किल अभी दस मिनट ही हुए होंगे कि मुजरिम की पहचान हो गई और अगले बीस मिनट के अंदर-अंदर मुजरिम को पकड़कर चेयरमैन माओ के सामने लाया गया। लड़की ने शिनाख़्त की, मौक़े पर फैसला हुआ और मुजरिम का भेजा उड़ा दिया गया। जुर्म से सज़ा तक की अवधि लगभग तीन घंटे की रही होगी। इसे कहते हैं फौरन इंसाफ मिलना जिस कारण आज चीन हर क्षेत्र में प्रगति पर है। काश कुछ ऐसा ही अपने देश में होता तो शायद बलात्कार की इतनी घटनाएं न होती। पर अपने यहां होता क्या है। अगर पीड़िता ज़िंदा है तो वर्षों तक अदालत का चक्कर और अगर जला दी गई तो उसके नाम पर केवल कैंडल मार्च। काश, ऐसे फैंसले हमारे देश में भी होते!
