At approximately 2:00 AM, it was observed that Oluomo of Derby a member of the previous executive accessed the account

@NIUKCommunity Moving forward, can we have a clear agenda circulated before any town hall meeting? We can't have a town hall with no clear direction. All those who have reports to give should have their reports ready, present them at the start of the meeting, and entertain questions before AOB

Following the just concluded @NiukNeb meeting, the following suggestions have been collated/suggested for adoption by the @NIUKCommunity to be overseen by the @NiukNeb 1. The @NiukNeb is CAPABLE & the community who voted them in would like them to be more involved in running the affairs of the @NIUKCommunity . 2. The ppl in charge of the @NIUKCommunity official handle are to find out who deleted that space & inform the community at the town hall meeting next week. 3 The community has decided long ago& the excos agreed that they’d refund the monies they took from the community’s coffers, it is NOT an option for debate so at the town hall we expect them to inform us when exactly the refunds will be made. It is pertinent to note that the community elected the @NiukNeb (after verifying them individually) to checkmate the activities of the excos/moderators and not to be controlled by them. We expect them to remain there in the INTERIM UNTIL the new leadership is successfully in place. This was the agreement. The following motions are thereby moved: 1. @violetibeh is relieved of all financial duties & either handover (NOT CLOSE) the @NIUKCommunitybank account immediately to the @NiukNeb or we have 2 members of the @niukneb join her as co signatories. This should be ASAP and before the town hall meeting. 2. At least one of the @NiukNeb be given access to the official community handle, and the @NiukNeb be given the mod badge so that when they want to communicate with us, they can do it effectively and efficiently. 3. The ADMIN for all NIUK subsidiary communities eg the NIUKSTUDENTS community be moved from all personal handles to the official community handle. 4. The rest of the existing moderation team should either work hand in hand with the @NiukNeb, and stop blocking members or obstructing the @NiukNeb from discharging their duties in any way, failure to agree to work peacefully with the @NiukNeb they can leave and let new people join the Moderation Team. 5. @NiukNeb to communicate more with the community. Community members pls follow @NiukNeb and feel free to always dm/email your concerns to them. 6. Following the town hall meeting, by which time NIUK should have a clear sense of direction as to where this community is headed, the @NIUKCommunity can look into organizing its usual summer event.
