Tonight I voted for amendment H calling on the UK government to back an immediate ceasefire.
I believe it is the only way to protect civilians and stop the humanitarian disaster which has led to thousands of deaths including many children.

After advocating on this issue in Parliament with multiple interventions, debates and meetings as part of my Eye Health Strategy Bill, I am so pleased that free NHS sight tests are being extended to all special schools!

Highlighted many years ago. Deutsch et al. One of the biggest barriers to being certified Sight Impaired is attending HES clinics but being discharged without such discussion and unseen by ECLO is highly unprofessional and poor policy. @CollegeOptomUK @RCOphth @LOCSU

Both had been seen by Ophthalmology in past 2 years and discharged 🤦♀️.
