How my lowest moment in this space lead to me helping clients raise $10 million+ in the last 6 months... Lets rewind a bit⏪ It's early 2023 & Bitcoin is below $20k Me & my team had been working on @EdenGenesisGame for close to a year at this point. Even though the market was rough we had managed: - 32,000+ Followers (no paid bots) - 300+ collabs - Eden Genesis was one of the hottest gaming projects yet to launch Within the last 1.5 months leading up to launch we had: - Over 40 Twitter Spaces with all major groups - What was meant to be the final space before launch had over 2,000+ people listen in LIVE! - DM's were flooded with people asking for last minute spots So what went wrong? TLDR version: - Mint site crashed from over 20,000 visitors all trying to mint (more than double the amount of WL) - There was no way to mint from contract - Communication to the community regarding the issues wasn't the quickest This of course led to a launch delay & you guessed it... FUD. As we all know, this space can be very unforgiving when it comes to projects getting 2nd chances. Me & the team were devastated. The following few months I had decided to take a break from working & focus on myself. I grew my network & created art in my spare time. - Managed to sell a few of my artworks - Was featured at Canadas Largest Web3 event & my work displayed at MARN in the US. Fast forward to Christmas Day 2023, I signed my current contract with the brilliant team @FracasWeb3. Since then I have: - Helped our clients raise over $10 million - Further strengthened my relationship with some of the most influential people in the space - Helped structure and orchestrate some incredibly successful campaigns The point of this post is to keep going. Learn from past mistakes and find the silver lining. I'm incredibly grateful for my time spent working on Eden Genesis & the team we had, without that I may not be in the position I am in today.
