Which reverse proxy are you actually running in your homelab?
• Traefik (Docker label routing, automatic certs, highly configurable)
• Caddy (clean config, automatic HTTPS by default, great for simpler setups)
• HAProxy (battle-tested, powerful, steeper learning curve)
• Something else?
I've been running Traefik for a while — love the Docker label integration. BUT I keep hearing good things about Caddy for setups that don't need the full Traefik flexibility.
What's your daily driver and why? 👇

@Sycesg @XS29L8B000001 @UmpireAuditor @scottlincicome Yeah, Iet it be battle tested before it goes full time.
English

@XS29L8B000001 @UmpireAuditor @scottlincicome it will come eventually, might be next year, might be a few years from now, but it will come at some point.

@carrol_genie_ @DexterXRP My family considers it a variety of Teriyaki sauce. Teriyaki is better for marinade, and Bachman's is better directly on cooked food. It's nothing like america BBQ sauce. My oldest daughter love's Bachman's on her white rice.

@Rothmus Hawaii's a bunch of wimps. Who goes to the doctor for a scrape?
English

@spobiker @deejayakoni @stevesi After that attempted murder at northgate station, no way I'm taking my family on the train for a long time, and last summer we rode it a lot.
English

@deejayakoni @stevesi One bad experience can ruin it for years to one person. Safety and reliability need to remain on task

In Seattle for a minute. Took the Link #2. It was packed midday today. I talked to a Metro officer who said it is positively jammed/SRO in the morning.
Turns out if you take a generation (three decades+) to build transit, the community misses out on the "good times".
Given track limitations how soon before "let's not even try" becomes the rule? How soon before everyone is slowed down going north/south (which is crowded but not unusable)? There's already no real schedule so every ride is +/- 10 minutes weekdays without a train change. (2012 article via SeattleTransitBlog.com)

@callen0013 I think it's better with ABS, and I agree with all your points! We don't expect the umps to be able to do it. The tolerances of ABS are unreal; inhumane. Just let ABS do it; remove the middle man.
English

@KenKirtland17 @thunderf00t The program is way too costly and unsustainable. It's an irresponsible use of tax payer dollars and a spectacular dead end.
I'd much rather have several more JWST-sized space telescopes and dozens more robotic solar system missions than Artemis, for equivalent cost.
English

Artemis 2 leanrings are not in and of itself. It is laying the foundation to explore the lunar surface, where there are a ton of learnings to be had.
We will not be exploring the moon with untested, unverified spacecraft. A2 is a human in the loop test of Orion, SLS, and operating these vehicles throughout the journey from LEO > moon > reentry. Things we have to get down before we explore and learn on the moon.
I don't think this is a difficult concept to grasp tbh.

@TendoPro1 @JackMcMahon06 @CodifyBaseball Interesting, I was wondering how the computer adjusted the strike zone per-player.
ABS is calling balls/strikes on 0.1" tolerances. A player's movement will certainly shift their knees/top-letters by more than 0.1" during a pitch.
English

@Nlflint @JackMcMahon06 @CodifyBaseball First off, it doesn't. Everyone had to get their height measured for ABS. You can't just crouch lower and it shifts your strike zone, that's a dumbass question. Second, ABS moves based on player height, see the answer to question 1 if you are still lost.
English

@RhubarbBrown You can now have new shared lamentations with fellow fans over the effects of ABS.
English

@Oceans1Emerald @FalconryFinance It's not even the type of cow. Different muscles in the same cow have different tenderness. He grabbed the chuck roast, a very tough cut.
English

@FalconryFinance So first of all, we now have Argentinian beef. Second of all, not all beef cows are the same. They vary greatly. The Argentinian beef cows from the tropical equator are probably different breeds than what we are used to. Third I understand our ranchers are buying different cows
English

@TendoPro1 @JackMcMahon06 @CodifyBaseball What happens if the numbers or knees change height during the pitch, and how does it adjust to taller/shorter players?
English

@JackMcMahon06 @CodifyBaseball The line is in the rulebook. Any pitch that crosses the plate and is from knees to numbers high is a strike. Been that way since the birth of baseball. The line has been drawn for over a century. Don't like it, don't watch it.
English

@awaldman24 @CodifyBaseball That's essentially making the strike zone smaller. You still have the same problem, just the line's in a different spot.
English

@CodifyBaseball I think more than 50% of the ball in the zone is needed for it to be a strike
English

@patriot1776tex @InsaneCope Not everyone has to pay into it, to get it. All kinds of people collect it without having paid a dime into it, including recipients when the program started.
English

@InsaneCope 1935 - 1870 is 65. You have to pay into social security before you can get it. They already said it was a data error, whatever program they were running we’re putting in 1875 as a birthdate.

What are the arguments against buying an electric car?
X Freeze@XFreeze
Tesla Model Y is the world's best-selling car for 3 consecutive years 2023: #1 2024: #1 2025: #1 Cumulative global sales: 4,000,000+ units Not best-selling EV. Best-selling car. Period. Beating every gas, hybrid, and electric vehicle on Earth
English

@Rainmaker1973 That’s from the “How Ridiculous” YouTube channel. Our family loves their videos.
English

@NadirDridah @forever_gf618 It makes sense. Jeremy was fired, and Hammond & May resigned after season 22. Season 23 was all new hosts. The original hosts were lightning in a bottle, you can't replace em.
English

You can always tell where the decline began on show charts like this.
For example...

madeofmistake@madeofmistak3
this chart will never cease to amaze me
English

@themusoau @Lowe1436 @cqcqcqdx Yeah, it's was probably a "check all that apply" survey. Of course radio got the most, there's a radio in every car. Even if you listened to radio one time, you'll check the box.

@davidbombal I really don't want to update from iOS 18. I don't want the new glass UI, or poorer performance. Sucks, but gotta get the security updates.

@RV_XNU @AskDrCracker @LundukeJournal This post says nothing about an alternate init system. It says:
> CachyOS uses SystemD
> If you don’t want to use SystemD find another distribution

CachyOS, an Arch-based Linux distro focused on performance has:
- Taken the top spot on the DistroWatch rankings.
- Become the most used Linux distribution on ProtonDB (a website for tracking game compatibility on Linux).
CachyOS has also hit 8.5% of all Linux users of Steam (beating out Ubuntu, Mint, & Bazzite).
