Unpopular opinion but I quite liked Pardew you know. He was a good bloke & we played some cracking stuff at times. He broke a few unwanted records along the way mind but his time with us was mostly successful. Graeme Carr was decent too.

Newcastle don’t have a great history of replacing successful Managers. Dalglish and Souness followed Keegan and Sir Bobby. Both great candidates on paper but neither worked out. It doesn’t mean Eddie Howe can’t be replaced but history offers a warning. #nufc
