Add the grooming gang scandals in Rotherham (1,400 victims), Rochdale, Oxford, Telford, Oldham, Huddersfield and others, plus the latest Crewe raids on a religious group for modern slavery, sexual assault and forced marriage. The pattern is impossible to miss. The problem is Islam and Muslims.

The UK's threat level has increased to “severe”. This follows a rising Islamist and Extreme Right Wing terrorist threat, and yesterday's abhorrent antisemitic terrorist attack. People should be vigilant as they go about their daily lives, and report any concerns to the police. The grooming gangs scandal exposed systematic abuse in Rotherham (1,400 victims), Rochdale, Oxford, Telford, Oldham, Huddersfield and elsewhere — predominantly Pakistani Muslim gangs that Labour-run authorities ignored for years out of fear of racism accusations. Mate, it’s as obvious as a luminous elephant playing a trombone. New "Turkish"-run barbers popping up everywhere, yet half the chairs sit empty while ground rent on a typical high street unit is £25k–£40k a year — that’s £70–£110 a day just for rent. In my home town alone there are 14 barbers crammed into one street. Cars sit outside all day with random people pulling up, the driver running back and forwards into the barbers to drop off whatever they just received. This isn’t entrepreneurship. It’s organised crime using barbers as fronts for money laundering and worse. Anyone with eyes can see it.

Labour’s potential leadership contest is already shaping up as a grim choice between Keir Starmer and Angela Rayner. Starmer: protected his mates in the Mandelson crony vetting scandal, whipped his own MPs to block any scrutiny, cut winter fuel payments for pensioners, and delivered punishing energy bills through net zero zealotry while North Sea production collapses. Rayner: the gaffe-prone deputy with an abysmal housing delivery record, multiple personal controversies, and the entitled hard-left wing cheering her on. And if that wasn’t grim enough, the nightmare backup option of Diane Abbott and David Lammy waiting in the wings — the woman who once claimed 1 in 4 black men are in prison or police, and the man who once confused Uganda with its capital on live radio. A choice between a steaming pile of shite and a complete arsehole.

Starmer still refuses to sack Ed Miliband. Even though Miliband’s net zero obsession has helped keep energy bills punishingly high for ordinary people, justified the winter fuel payment cuts for pensioners, and left Britain facing real risks of blackouts and energy rationing as North Sea production declines and we rely on unreliable wind and foreign interconnectors. The man is an ideological disaster in the Energy brief and Starmer knows it. But loyalty to his inner circle always comes first. Just like with the Mandelson crony vetting scandal and the three-line whip to block scrutiny. Starmer would rather protect his mates and watch the country suffer than admit he made another terrible appointment. Useless bellend protecting another useless bellend.

Wetherspoons has now issued a statement claiming the real issue was “filming outside” and parking a bus in the loading bay, not politics. But in the actual video the manager explicitly says they are refusing to serve the customer because he supports Reform UK. They can try to reframe it as a licensing issue all they like. The manager on camera made it political the moment he opened his mouth. Corporate damage control doesn’t erase what was said on video.
