Coinciding with the opening day of the @ACEF_Forum of the @ADB_HQ , various organizations assembled at Fuente Osmeña Circle in Cebu City to condemn the city’s plan of building a Waste-to-Energy (WTE) incinerator in the area. [1/2]

In an open letter signed by the organizations, they called on the Cebu’s Provincial and City government to rethink and abandon the project as burning waste – particularly plastic is dirtier than coal and is nothing but a #FalseSolution. @EWCoalition @sanlakas_ph
