Electric motorbikes are taking over, even in the small towns in Nigeria. This is going to be one of the biggest markets in West Africa soon.

@NoErrors01 @UTDFrederick @StingyandProud So it's about bringing these boys together, sponsor them to do responsible mining that you can monitor to keep the waters safe.
Or you provide a better job opportunity that will pay them equivalent to what they earn from the pits. Else, the GAF will be in this for a long time.
English

@Raynoldsnat @UTDFrederick @StingyandProud Basically a non kinetic approach!
...I agree with you. The youth who have tasted galamsey money also need some form of "rehabilitation" and something to look forward to.
English

@NoErrors01 @UTDFrederick @StingyandProud ..mining that can be monitored instead of trying to stop them in the forest. Cos they grew up in these villages and they know the forest better than you the military, so when you love them from point 'A', they easily establish at point B, cause more harm before you even realise..

@NoErrors01 @UTDFrederick @StingyandProud The guys who muddy the water mostly are not the known small scale miners. It is the town folks who go to the abandoned sites after the mining sites are done with the concession. So these boy should rather be assembled to partner with each other and sponsored to do responsible...
English

@NoErrors01 @UTDFrederick @StingyandProud Bro. The solutions they practice are the same ones they've practiced for years. The same one.that killed major Mahama. We haven't changed approach. I live in a galamsey area and I bet you, we can deploy a million military, nothing will change until the right things are done
English

@NoErrors01 @UTDFrederick @StingyandProud Ebe sad oo. The youth thay should help fight these things have decided to benefit and make other look stupid for talking about it. Its really sad
English

@Raynoldsnat @UTDFrederick @StingyandProud You're right and I think it has eaten deeper than we see . We've seen successful operations from the GAF, but there is so much more to be done.
English

@MissRozapepper I hope he survives this. Nobody should lose their lives over trivial issues.
English

@NoErrors01 @UTDFrederick @StingyandProud Are you being sarcastic or serious?
