D.C. police policy prohibits supervisors from changing crime classifications in other officers’ reports. An attorney for one official facing discipline said that means it's possible to run afoul of dept policy for correcting inaccurate classifications, even when well-intentioned


If it’s so easily disprovable, then disprove it. DC has 543 cops per 100k people, more than all other big cities and more than double the rate in LA. And that’s before taking into account the National Guard, WMATA police, Park police, and dozens of other agencies.



UPDATE: We won a court judgment against Women in HEELS and its CEO for their misuse of public funds. They are required to pay back misused funds, and the defendant is now banned from leading a DC nonprofit. We will not allow anyone to misuse taxpayer dollars or nonprofit funds.
