LA retweetledi

While chatting with a close friend who's in a new relationship, she told me that her social media feed has been flooded with toxic videos—things like "If he does this, he's definitely cheating" or "If he acts that way, he's just not that into you." It's left her second-guessing every aspect of her relationship. But then, she had a moment of clarity and realized how deeply these messages were influencing her thinking.
She mentioned seeing my post about that "Dump Him" sweater from Target, adding, "If I'd seen it in the store, it might have pushed me over the edge and convinced me to end things. It would have just amplified all my doubts."
It's concerning how women are bombarded from every angle with content that subtly—or not so subtly—encourages staying single, being paranoid and being resentful.
