Guys I’m just now getting into basketball at 51 years old (left the NBA when Jordan retired from the Bulls). I just came back 2 years ago be cause I saw a random YouTube video about some euro prodigy named Luka Doncic. I found him player for Dallas and figured maybe I’ll start watching again. I watching all of his games and got hooked, the kid player played like magic shot like bird passed like Stockton,then he got traded to LA. In what little ball I’ve watch (every Luca game) I’m blindly being introduced to who the new players are. I completely missed following class. Only saw the first year of Kobe, missed LeBron careers and only got to see the first 3 years of Shaq, and knew nothing about LeBron until when I saw Luka played with him in LA. I missed Kyrie, Durant, Duncan, A.I., Garnett, Westbrook, Curry and Carmello. Now these new I guys I see playing that are supposed to be the newest generation honestly make me sick. Ant, Giannis, SGA. Instead of playing hard against to the best of their abilities…they play a game called how to trick the refs! What the hell is this?! The flopping would have get ya aşś kicked or stopped by Charles Oakley or Bill Lambert. And someone needs to do it every time until you changed your ways or your off with serious physical injuries and have time to think. I do still love watching Luka and Joker and Whemby play however …. But the league should start over with them and rebuild. It’s like I’ve been in a comma and woke up in 2024 from a 1997 head injury comma and turned the TV back on and I’m now watching games again but now I’m utterly exhausted and dismayed by what I seen. How does this get fixed?

All real-life historical figures. So why didn’t he make Kitty Oppenheimer BLACK for that mixed-race-marriage flavor they love? Why not go all in? Colman Domingo as Harry Truman. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Albert Einstein. Kevin Hart as Richard Feynman. It would’ve “still been the same movie,” right? Yet for this one, Nolan’s cast stayed almost 100% white. Why? Because he knew the audience for that movie was mostly white intellectuals who actually know history. And that’s exactly the crowd that would’ve embraced a faithful version of Homer’s "Odyssey." Nolan told 60 Minutes that he always approaches each film as if it were his last. This time, I hope he's right.

Notice that the only grunting yelling or screaming in this clip comes from The Punisher's victims, while Frank himself is collected and professional. THIS is how the Punisher should be portrayed. Yes, this film had it's flaws, mostly the choices the director took with tone, and actors chewing the scenery, but Stevenson's portrayal of the Punisher is still the best we've been given.
