@lady_valor_07 In the 60s and 70s, a 5-dollar bill. Quarters were already special. My allowance as an 8 year was a quarter. When I was 12 or so, my father paid 10 cents per cedar fence post. Had to use an axe to cut them. Chopping 5 posts took a lot of time and sweat.
