@SJUDave This is a little Monday morning QB-ish here but I think players (nba too) concede the switch too easy. Best defenders try to slip it, make them earn the switch. You have to know what the game plan is and disrupt as much as possible.

No! Don’t touch the games. One solution doesn’t get traction is extend the season into July. Spread the season from Oct to May, playoffs from end of May to July. That provides the rest time needed.

Make the games 40 minutes. 8 x 82 / 48 =13.667 That’s the equivalent number of games you would reduce the schedule by. Without breaking arena leases. Works for college. Works for international. Works for the WNBA. AND. If you looking at tv and streaming ratings, the less the actual playing time for a televised game, the bigger the ratings. Ie, the less time fans have to focus on a game, the more they enjoy watching it on tv

It’s funny… I actually clipped all of the terrible calls down the stretch that nearly cost St. John’s the game but figured there’s no point in posting since we won & it didn’t matter.
In retrospect, that officiating is unacceptable. Especially in a 5 min window in a huge game.
