Doctors surrounded by body bags, claiming that 500 people were killed at Al-Ahli Arab Hospital by the IDF, telling about how they were in the middle of surgery when the ceiling fell in and the hospital destroyed. Except none of it was true. And the hospital was still standing when the sun rose. The doctors in the press conference? Officials from Gaza's Health Ministry, which is part of Hamas. Independent sources soon verified Israeli claims that the damage was caused by a misfired rocket from Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and that it hit the parking lot of the hospital, not the hospital itself. Those same sources now estimate 50 or fewer people died, but nobody has ever been able to do an independent investigation of the site, Hamas will not let them. But ask anyone in Gaza, and they'll say that it happened just as Hamas claimed. It is a totalitarian society, and failing to toe the narrative of the party leads to horrific consequences not just for yourself, but for your family as well. It is remarkable the coordination of the lies and how many layers of lies there were around this incident. Why would anyone believe anything coming out of Gaza, particularly something that seems fairly incredible, without independent verification? Why do they want it to be true?

Despite claiming difficulty locating the bodies of deceased hostages, Hamas continues to hold and manipulate the remains it refuses to release under the agreement. Hamas’ claims of lacking engineering equipment are baseless, such tools are unnecessary for the transfer of remains and do not prevent the return of the deceased hostages.

Imagine if somebody came to America from a place where the KKK was favorably viewed, and that person began disseminating materials favorable to the KKK, promoting the KKK’s violence, persuading others to support the KKK, and calling for a KKK revolution.
