@CaliforniaDDS 60+ advocates, including residents, staff, family members, @ActivCareLiving, @SDRegionalCtr, @thecookingguy, and many others in the community shared their stories and even more attended. This is an important step in our effort to fully fund MORE housing choices for MORE people!

Today, Noah Homes attended the County Board of Supervisors Meeting to ask for their support on this item, working with @CaliforniaDDS to eliminate the reimbursement rate freeze for providers with 7+ beds.

Thank you @SupFletcher, @JoelAndersonCA, @SupNoraVargas, @jim_desmond, and @SupLawsonRemer for unanimously voting YES on agenda item 6 and for your support of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities!

3 years after the DDS commissioned rate study found that a network of service providers could not be sustained without sufficient reimbursement rates, DDS has chosen to freeze our reimbursement rates, despite record inflation and a multi-billion $ California budget surplus.
