Bucs had a bunch of players deep for punt returns Tuesday, most notably Kenny Gainwell being first in line. Would they let a $7 million running back return kicks? Danny Smith said he's already lobbying to help him out on special teams. Gainwell had 23 kickoff returns last year.

If Mesidor hits a prime Shaq peak by year 3, I don't think anyone complains.
He doesn't need to be threatening the sack record. He just needs to be a consistent threat to the QB, averaging 8-12 and he'd a hero.

A lot of people aren’t a fan of Mesidor age but 🤷♀️ if he’s cleared he’s proven product. Same as Howell, although idk about Howell at 15

Bucs not spending big on an edge rusher suggests they'll use the 15 pick there and add a value free agent. Does 15 get you the fourth-best edge in this class? Not the big swing fans had hoped for, but in line with how they typically view free agency spending.

Meanwhile ½ of his OCs look to be building teams more complete and competitive than he has.
