Today I helped my (soon to be ex) wife move into her own place. A place where she will live with our daughter, but I won’t be there. I can’t describe the pain I’m in right now. I don’t have the words yet. It’s grief like nothing I’ve ever felt.

TW: 😔 My wife and I recently came to the horrible realization that we should separate. Being raised in a high demand religion and growing up in dysfunctional families (despite having loving parents) left us broken and emotionally stunted.

Church history book recommendations? Biased for and/or against. LDS or not. Wanting to read something new 😄

I’ve probably cried more in the last few months than I have my whole life combined, but it’s because I’m finally feeling. The numbness is dissipating. I am awake. And life keeps getting more beautiful all the time, even when I’m sad.
