We've pushed a specification for the Gen2 libp2p networking upgrade. The Gen2 networking is a transport-layer libp2p request-response upgrade that adds batched request/response while preserving full backwards compatibility. Faster syncing and more efficient networking!

Nockchain exists to accelerate this third transformation. Proof-of-work subsidizes ZK proving at scale — the consensus mechanism itself generates useful verification. The goal: make proofpower as abundant as bandwidth.

Zero-knowledge proofs do the same for verification. You can prove a statement is true without revealing the underlying data. The power to verify truth — once held by institutions, auditors, and courts — becomes a mathematical primitive anyone can use.

Three technologies democratized what was once gatekept by elites: the printing press gave us mass literacy, the internet gave us mass communication, and zero-knowledge proofs will give us mass verifiability. The third is just beginning.
