We are privileged to be hosted at @Makerere during the 2026 Career Day under the theme “Connecting Potential to Purpose: Partnerships for Sustainable Impact” a theme close to our mission and every day activities in the network. This event brings together students, professionals, and organizations to explore opportunities that empower young people to turn their potential into meaningful impact. We had an opportunity to share deeply about the 🇺🇸 fellowship programs, including the eligibility requirements and the transformative benefits participants gain after the fellowships and programs. We thank @USEmbassyUganda for continually supporting Ugandan students It was inspiring to engage with bright and ambitious students who are eager to grow, learn, and shape the future. We look forward to the connections and impact that will emerge from these conversations.

𝐃.𝐄.𝐀.𝐑 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, 𝐖𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐨. This week, our Chapters of Change #BookClub through it’s community engagement initiative organized a reading experience with learners at Morning Star Primary School in the spirit of Drop Everything And Read (DEAR). One lesson stood out clearly - when children are given space to read, imagine, and learn together, they begin to see knowledge as an opening to opportunity and confidence. We are grateful to @RctWakiso for the generous book donation to the school that will continue to nourish the learners’ reading journey - 200 books were handed over by the club President to the school administration. Together with our partners, @Little_Feza @WomensHubUganda, @ReadtoLearn01 and @Node_Group who made the day memorable for the learners blending reading, financial literacy, and shared learning into one powerful message - Literacy for all. #HappyDEARDay
