Our lack of depth is the real differentiator. Aus have Sunday injured, NZ have no Ekenasio and Hall injured. Meanwhile we have Housby and Jas out and it’s decimated our tournament. Imagine a world where Bruce gets injured so Aus have to put a 5’9 player into GK 💀 #CWGNetball

@sophie_acklin @netballtalkliv Absolutely that. And like you say she’s seen her teammate, she will know much more quickly how bad is bad up close. A game off she’s probably grateful for, as opposed to being upset.

@emiliesopinions That’s also not true. There’s been so much conversation about match play. It was topical as it looked like the diamonds were uncomfortable but now the action has really kicked in so have the conversations

oh god netball facebook really is the worst , HOW ON EARTH have you seen more conversations about the dresses than the sports? do you just not engage in any media about netball? because its maybe 5% of the discussion

@hosko @leaseM_87 The short pass call was dodgy as considering SSH got her hand in but the tide was already turning and the Tbirds were already starting to fly. By the end it was one way traffic.

@leaseM_87 Was a crap call but they were already 8 points down 😂 how can it be a short pass if the defender gets hands on the ball? The rule literally says there has to be room for a defender to deflect the ball, which she did.

@jessbee1999 I think it’s clear what she could do had she had more time. Wouldn’t have been enough IMO for CWG but am still surprised didn’t make the full squad. But you know she can quietly get back to form and smash it for World Cup.

Tbf she’s been on managed minutes and hasn’t looked up for more than what she’s gotten so far. Had she been back for more of the season, I think she would have made the wider squad.

Absolutely gutted for Helen. How does it work with CWG? EN have already submitted a long squad and have to choose the 12 from that I believe. So Helen’s replacement has to be someone from the long squad - do we think Ella Clarke was on that? 😬

@shaymcgg What we do know is Hadley can absolutely bring it to get herself into World Cup contention. I know that doesn’t ease it now but my heavens I reckon she’s going to bring it.
