The Sailors return 9 starters on offense and 8 on defense under head coach Herb Devine, led by Grayson Foley, Owen Morley, Tyler Stelljes, Shamus Keefe, Chrysto Brown, Thomas Murray, Nolan Caplinger, Chris Webber, and Sam Huggins. There is no question that Scituate was blessed with some amazing skill players this season. However 4,000+ yards and 29.5/ppg just doesn't happen by itself. The entire team knows it starts up front with the big boys. You don't hear their name on the PA during games, very rarely do you see their names in the paper or up for POTW honors. However, they are the ones who battle in the trenches, they make they key block to spring a back, or they give the QB just enough time to throw the game winning pass! I don't have any stats on them because I don't know of a stat to measure heart, determination or toughness.
