John Turturro is on screen for less than five minutes in The Big Lebowski (1998), yet Jesus Quintana is one of the most unforgettable characters in the film. The role was written specifically for him & yes, that infamous “bulge” was just a bag of birdseed.

We also have historical records of it going back hundreds of years before the Shroud, further debunking claims that it was forged in the 1300-1400’s. Even the blood type is the same (AB, an incredibly rare blood type to boot) which would have been impossible to know by any medieval forger.

The Talmud basically says “yeah nothing supernatural in our religion worked anymore after Jesus died for some reason” and then Jews still deny Christ’s divinity.

@dirkjayl @realspeckzo General consensus: back then Jewish people had baseless hatred for one another. This is consistent with Josephus modern book on the Temple's destruction. Nothing to do with Jesus. The Temple's divinity loses its power when it's administers fail to adhere to tenets of Judaism
