🏠 This woman gives us a tour of her studio apartment in Dubai and all the little things that are completely different from American living.
She shows the intercom to unlock the main door to let her guests in, the button you have to press for hot water and heat, the bidet, the washing machine that’s in the kitchen, no dryer (clothes go on the balcony to dry) and so much more.
It’s the “normal” little things in our everyday lives that can feel so different when you’re in another country.

A lot of the hostility ppl direct at certain groups is tied to sexual competition. You can see it all over social media, since ppl build narratives in their heads about who’s desired, who isn’t, and that perception just turns into resentment. In this case it is Nigerian men. lol
