Tamar, her husband Johnny, their 5 year old twin daughters, Shahar and Arbel, and 2 year old Omer--Omeriko, were beloved by the entire community. After Gaza's people set the house on fire, Gazans came in and shot them all to death. Tamar's last message even in this horrific time was checking in on others in the Kibbutz. I was born Syrian. Israelis have been killing my people for generations. Both my grandfathers fought Israel. Israel bombed my parents when they were kids, had they not survived I would not be here. I have witnessed Israel commit genocide after genocide of my people. To hear these words from @DanBalzarian and @sneako even though they are not Syrian, Lebanese or Palestinian (though Armenia is close), it heartens me that the world can sympathise with us like that. It makes me believe in humanities sense of justice. I’d like to think that if the situation were reversed and I were not Syrian I would have the same sense of justice as you do. Israel is the Jewish ISIS, the Jewish state must go as the Islamic state went.
