There is indeed no limit to pro-Soviets cope in this era, huh? So if we go exclusively off of death toll it's between 9-10 million on the Red army side. If we go off casualties it's almost 30 million.

Also the Germans put up around 3.5 million troops while the Soviet army had between 5.5 and 6 million. Almost double the size and this was for 1941 in the first German offensive.
Now if you want to talk specifically where the Germans were pushing, yes they had a man advantage there but not because they had the larger force, it was because of Soviet incompetence and poor logistics. That doesn't change the fact that the Soviets threw more men at the German lines than the Germans ever had on those lines at any point in the war. They lost on repeat. Hints why the German KD was like 2.5-3 Russians per German soldier.

@illusionsMD @LeBolshevikman The Axis had numerical advantage right up to Kursk. Nevertheless, only having more men isn’t enough, you also have good plan, which the Soviet did have plenty of. The reason why the Soviet suffered such heavy losses was because the German intentionally would starve their POWs.
