@openletteryt Its easy to blame everything on the politics of nepali side while ignoring your own. No matter how beautiful you may make this sound to appease both side, the problem is still the people who blindly thinks only their country can be right.

Nepal has always had amazing people. Warm, respectful, deeply connected to India in ways politics can never fully explain. Millions of Indians love Nepal, millions of Nepalis love India. Our borders stayed open because our relationship was never just diplomatic. It was civilizational. The frustrating part has always been the politics. One government after another keeps discovering new ways to play anti-India politics for short-term gains, even when common people on both sides clearly want friendship, stability, and cooperation. India and Nepal are too culturally connected to become enemies. Politicians will come and go. But the bond between ordinary Indians and Nepalis has survived every government, every controversy, and every attempt to divide it.

@amatya_rakshas_ @drishtadyumn No hate to any Indians either, but the BJP government had also enforced a blockade. Have you ever thought that those spreading hate are just bots and engagement farmers? But still the root problem is both sides being hyper-nationalistic and falling for these posts.

@drishtadyumn From the looks of it, Indians seem to be more triggered by this type of shitpost. As a Nepali, I don’t even care about these idiots who think such memes are real, but I’m more concerned that both Nepalis and Indians are falling for hate-spreading bots and engagement farmers.

@ashoswai To old to think before posting? "Popular revolt", "No revolution can reduce corruption", "Corruption is South Asian political culture". Did you even think before posting?

A new government under Balen Shah came to power in Nepal after a popular revolt against the corrupt political class. Within a month, home minister of Shah resigns being accused of money laundering. No revolution can reduce corruption - Corruption is South Asian political culture.

@SDMUNI This is a poor interpretation of the situation. What you’re calling “immaturity in selecting” looks more like maturity in accountability. Labeling cabinet choices as “preferred and pliant”. Who are you btw? Citizen of Nepal or are you in Nepalese government?

In 35 days, Nepali PM Balen had to say good bye to two of his ministers. This exposes his immaturity in selecting his associates. Beyond the promise of qualified and competent candidates, he chose preferred and pliant cabinet colleagues.

@TimalsenaSachin Is this seriously what you think of democratically elected majority government? "a circus"? You can oppose government policies, and their decisions but calling it "a circus" is just immature. Just because you don't like it or in it does not make it "circus".

@RONBupdates Respect to Sudan Gurung. This is what we voted for. Accountability and Transparency. Let the investigation speak. If cleared of all allegations, you’ll come back stronger.

Specially for you.

@joraman100 Can you not understand English properly? If not, I can write in Nepali specifically for you. I neither mentioned India in my post, nor am I Indian. And what do you mean by ‘you guys’?

@SulavKarki RSP supporter are now clearly doing NARRATIVE SHIFTING by focusing on privacy violation only. If bank data was leaked, that should be investigated but real question is where did the money come from and why the unexplained transactions? Both issues can and should be examined.

Doing investigative reporting is fine but does our existing laws in Nepal allow major media companies to directly gain access to private Bank records and details of elected politicians or even ordinary Nepalis without any Court order?? What happened to privacy rights in Nepal?? How did Kantipur get access to all these Bank details when Sudhan Gurung i believe isn't under any investigation?? Is there some sort of collusion here?? This needs to be investigated because it is a very serious matter. No Bank details of any Nepali should be publicly released without a Court order only if a judge deems it necessary for the investigation. I don't think this falls under RTI. ekantipur.com/politics/2026/…

@SulavKarki If instead of sudan gurung's record, it was old politician's record, rsp supporter would have been much delighted. They would not be talking about rights then. You have to understand we voted for change, not RSP not Balen. We were not jholey, we won't be jholey (updated).

@saalu4m No media should be boycotted, reformed yes, by current government no. It sets a wrong example. Nepali media will follow our fellow neighbour's godi strategy to remain relevent if they are boycotted. Balance is needed in media, there are many irrational rsp supporting media too.

@saalu4m Supporting blindly is just as harmful as opposing blindly. We can’t measure intent of any government. The only thing we as a citizen can do is evaluate policy, execution, and outcomes so questioning is necessary even the irrational oppositions are necessary.
