People were scared to use Chengdu metro line 13 because it's driverless. Metro's solution is to put a guy who sit in front to pretend he is the driver. There's no controls and he is not allowed to play w mobile phone. His job is just be there to make people comfortable 😭

NEW: HS2 trains will run slower than originally planned to cut costs, Transport Secretary Heidi Alexander is set to announce.
The top speed will be reduced from 360km/h (224mph) to 320km/h (199mph), according to PA.
That still makes HS2 faster than Japan’s bullet trains.

Road to 100 🌍 ✈️
With moving house next month, September is probably my next trip on the Road to 100.
Flights booked to Tajikistan 🇹🇯 for a week via Istanbul, and flights to Baku for 3 days in-between.
The plan so far is a few days in Khujand, Baku and Dushanbe.
